Vettumaran has carminative, antipyretic, anticonvulsive, antiemetic, diuretic, analgesic actions .It can be used in the treatment of pyrexia, gas trouble, convulsion especially of children due to pyrexia, emesis, dysuria, colic, chickenpox, viral infections. This can be given with ginger juice or Amrutharishtam or as directed by a physician.
